There are many misconceptions about age. Many believe that we grow old and slow down, but in reality we slow down and then grow old.
Retirement for some can actually be detrimental to their health, because without work they do not keep active and social.
So how can we stay young?
First we have to throw, what we thought about aging, out the window.
Yes, it is true that as we age we have a higher risk of disease and disability, but those things can happen when we are young as well. If we focus on staying active and living a healthy lifestyle we can continue to live a youthful life well into our 80's and beyond.
