Gretchen Reynolds of the New York Times, wrote a lovely piece about all the fitness findings of 2016.
There were many studies throughout the year that she covered, but two of the findings really stuck out for her...
THE BIG TWO:
If you are out of shape you increase your risk of premature death by 42%
You could save $2500 a year in healthcare costs by walking 30 minutes most days
Not only could exercise increase your lifespan, but it could save you money as well - lots of money. Many people forget that being sick costs you - sick days, medical bills, medicine, missed social outings - the list goes on and on.
In the study that Reynolds quoted the participants only walked for 30 minutes a day... You can handle that right?
We know you can, especially with the big money incentive!!!
So lace up those sneakers and get moving in 2017, your body and wallet will thank you!
