Below is a photo of the version I made - it is the BEST GRANOLA I HAVE EVER MADE!!! SO YUMMY!
p.s. Len is 86 and attributes his good health to staying active and eating well!
5-6 C. Rolled oats, untoasted
1 C. Sunflower seeds, raw
¼ C. Sesame seeds, raw
½ C. Wheat Germ, untoasted
¼ C. Flax seed
¼ C. Wheat Bran
¼ C. Pine nuts (very expensive, can easily be omitted)
¼ C. Pumpkin seeds, raw
½ C. Soy nuts (these are hard to find, can also be omitted)
3-4 C. Walnuts, Almonds, Pecans
1 C. Canola oil
¼ C. Maple syrup
1 C. Honey
1-2 tsp Vanilla (lately I have been omitting this)
1 C. Dried cranberries or raisins or both
